THE HEALTH LOTTERY’S STORY
The Health Lottery is a highly transactional, e-commerce site which currently sells approximately 400K+ tickets to 100K+ customers, every week.
But this wasn’t always the case. The Health Lottery had for years been burdened with a sub-optimal website which didn’t take user journeys, basic structures and core hygiene factors into consideration. Lacking in core capabilities, this legacy platform was impacting THL’s ability to effectively convert visitors and scale activities.
Given the site’s technical complexities, THL were looking for an agency who would be able to understand the technical elements, whilst proposing a strategy and solution which aligned with overarching commercial objectives. ODIN were brought on board in Q1 2016 to overhaul the website, and delivered the brand new THL site by the end of Q2 2016, just a few months after winning the tender.
Since launch, the website has enabled THL to increase its weekly sales by 50%, and thanks to new functionality and expanded capabilities, THL have since been able to scale e-commerce operations significantly.
